Being a Light to the World

Scripture: Matthew 5:14 – Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hid.

Reflection:

As followers of Christ, we are called to be a light to the world. Our lives should reflect the love, grace, and truth of God in such a way that others are drawn to Him. Just as a city on a hill cannot be hidden, neither should our light be kept to ourselves. We are to shine in the darkness, offering hope and direction to those who are lost. Being a light doesn’t mean being perfect, but it means letting God’s love shine through our actions, words, and attitudes. In a dark world, the light of Christ in us can make all the difference.

Prayer:

Lord, help me to be a light in the darkness. Let Your love and truth shine through me, so that others may see Your goodness and be drawn to You.
